Mount St. Mary's University located in Emmitsburg, MD. One hour from Northern Virginia.
Sunday July 27 - Wednesday July 30, 2008

Camp Objectives

To provide professional instruction on an individual basis.
To Emphasize detailed guidance in hitting, pitching, infield and outfield play, baserunning, bunting and drill work.
For each camper to learn how to live and work in a group situation.
For each camper to leave at the conclusion of camp with a better knowledge of the fundamentals of the game, and a desire to improve as an individual player.

Camp Highlights

Demonstrations, drills, practice sessions, instructional movies, and key note speakers.
Individual instruction periods throughout the week.
Camp T-shirts and daily awards.
Daily games at Golbart Field, home of the Mountaineers.
Players are evaluated from a college and pro standpoint.

Who May Attend?
The camps are open to player age 9 - 18.

Cost:
Resident Campers - $495.00 (includes room, board, insurance, T-shirt)
 

Application and deposit:
A $195.00 non-refundable deposit must accompany each application. The balance will be payable on or before the first day of camp.

Food and Housing:
Three meals a day will be provided by professional dietitians at the college cafeteria. Housing accommodations are in the dormitories located on campus and conveniently within walking distance to baseball fields, cafeteria, etc... Two students per room.

Registration and Check-in:
will be Sunday July 27  at Pangborn Hall from 3:00PM - 5:00PM.

What to bring:
Students should bring bed linens for a single bed (sheet, pillow, pillow case) toilet articles, towels, and casual wear (T-shirts shorts, etc.). Students should also bring their gloves, bat, baseball shoes, caps and baseball uniform pants or suitable clothing for play.

Facilities:
On campus facilities include: Three baseball diamonds, batting tunnels with pitching machines, practice mounds, sliding pits, a batting T range, and additional open field space. Off field facilities include air conditioned auditorium and classrooms for chalk talks and films. Additional recreational facilities available to campers include: track, snack bar, school store, basketball and swimming.

Directions:
The campus of Mt. St. Mary's College is located directly off of Rt. 15, twenty miles north of Frederick, MD and nine miles south of Gettysburg, PA.
